Meet 11 am in Mytholmroyd Community Centre car park (Caldene Avenue) for a 7-mile walk via Old Town on to Midgley Moor, weather permitting, returning via Churn Milk Joan. Bring a packed lunch. Shorter route and pub lunch option if poor weather.

Summer Event
The day time activities will centre around Oakwell Hall, a splendid Elizabethan manor house and the Red House, the 17th century home of a prosperous cloth manufacturer and merchant. Both properties had connections to the Brontes in real life and also in fiction. The houses open at 12 noon - there is an admission charge of £2 to Oakwell Hall and free admission to the Red House.

A riverside walk from Hebden Bridge to Gibson's mill, Hardcastle Crags. There is an exhibition - Splintered Garden by local artist Jessica Rose who produces mosaics from junk and treasures along with paintings inspired by the natural world.
